This Handbook is intended for a quick reference of policies, regulations, and information pertaining to or relevant for faculty at Eastern Kentucky University. The Office of Equity and Inclusion is charged with the University’s compliance with Title IX of the Educational amendments of 1972. Sexual harassment and sexual assault are forms of sex discrimination that are prohibited by Title IX and may include off campus conduct of such nature. The Office of Equity and Inclusion is charged with the University’s compliance with Title VI and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Inquiries concerning compliance are coordinated through: Joslyn Glover, Chief Equity Officer and Title IX Coordinator, and John Dixon, Director of Office of Equity and Inclusion.


The University has established a telephone line restricted to use in reporting emergency situations on-campus such as fires, accidents, or injuries.
